Due to the new dimensions the roof is extended additional and windscreen is shifted back.
The new features of this car include day time lighting LED's, bi wenon headlamps and larger tires. The dashboard of the previous beetle which was criticized is now uplifted in the new beetle. The new engine is 2.5 litre , 5 cylinder with a driving power of 170 hp, this car is truly a revolution in the auto industry and a very tough opponent for all the players present in this particular segment.
The new Volkswagen Beetle 2012 will be assembled in Volkswagen's Puebla place in mexico along side with the production line Jetta. due to the fact Jetta and Beetle share a few parts like front motor, wheel platform etc. Let us now wait and see for the new Beetle in the New York Auto show.
